    What isn't helping is the ad shows video footage of NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre supporting background checks in May 1999, a month after the mass shooting at Columbine High School.

    It's a ploy to make the group seem innocuous. Other than criminals, what individual wouldn't want to keep illegal guns off the streets? Then, you realize that their real goal is to make all guns illegal and you a criminal.

    I am glad that these guys wasted their money on this, dependent that it was Bloomberg money and not taxes. At 3.8 million plus production costs they have less money to promote their idiotic ideas. Best part is it was limited to only some regions.
