Prediction if magazine capacity ban happens
I have been thinking this for quite awhile, but if we get a ban on normal capacity magazines I think it will shape and change what people conceal carry. Currently I carry 9mm over any other caliber because of capacity and shot placement ability. If you now give me 10+1 you will most likely see my .45's come into the rotation as I want to get the most out of every round. I think this will shape then calibers people will carry in the near future for sure. It may be cool to see 10mm come back too! A small Glock 10mm has a nice ring to it. Lets hope this thought process never comes to fruition, get involved and help stop the ban!
The Ruger MKIII 22/45 is the worst handgun in history to take apart, but is one of the funnest to shoot...

Yeah, forget changing carry habits... there will be other things to worry about.

You overestimate the sheep put there! There are about 10 to 1 that would say "Thank you may I have another" over people that would resist. Lets all hope this stays theoretical.

I believe the Revolution that this great country was founded by had the same ratio of Patriots vs. Tories.

...as I want to get the most out of every round...
Don't know about the rest of y'all, but I feel that same way regardless of the caliber or capacity of my current EDC. Even if I was carrying a .22 short derringer, I want to "get the most" out of...both anemic pops.

I would predict lawsuits and an eventual Supreme Court Opinion.
Based on previous interpretations in SCOTUS rulings that the militia is citizenry called upon to bring their own arms that are to be the kind in common use at the time as to make the militia efficient and effective against their opponents I don't see how the guys bringing 7 round or 10 round firearms can be considered efficient against a foe using 19 and 30 round firearms that are in common use by the rest of the world (including the criminals inside the US).
Just my thoughts.

BugDude, I couldn't agree more. I also find it interesting that all of the pro 2A arguments being proffered recently are based solely on the Heller case with no mention at all of Miller even though it is the stronger argument.

It wouldn't affect my carry choice. I would still carry my standard mags unless there were an all out ban with confiscation.

Who's going to know until you need use it? After that, who cares ? As long as you survive the incident, thats all that matters.
I don't foresee any change in my carry routine.
The situation will NEVER BE THE WAY YOU WANT, it WILL BE THE WAY IT IS. You must be FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO ADAPT and just "DEAL WITH IT".
