Needing some female advice
My husband and I are starting a page on Facebook and a YouTube Channel. We've got some ideas on what video's to do but I wondering from other women what would you like to see another woman or a couple talk about or demonstrate on on a gun channel?
Guys do you also have any ideas?

My GF is interested in seeing how other women carry concealed. She finds even concealing a knife difficult with the clothing marketed to women.
On a couple note it would be interesting seeing a team effort in clearing a house. Or perhaps a demonstration of your specific plan. Such as maybe you stay in the one room while he goes out, idk just an idea.

Exactly what I was going to say, 031131. Also, is purse carry a viable option at all? My wife has decided to get her CCW along with me if/when it's legal in Illinois and expressed that she would prefer to just put it in her purse. I strongly encouraged her to think about carrying on her body to avoid losing her firearm if she ever lost her purse or had it snatched. But, if she insists on purse carry, what are decent options/tips for doing that?

Re: Needing some female advice
Id leave the room clearing out unless you really know what you are doing. Lima and I had a lot of ideas etc of how it would go, what to do etc.
Then we actually went and learned how to do it and we had a lot of issues to work through. Room clearing as a team is not something that can be learned well on YouTube without a lot of effort and skill.

Tips that don't evolve buying a new wardrobe for women would be good. I forgot to mention earlier but at least half the pants she has don't even have real front pockets. Not that that really matters to begin with as women's front pockets can barely hold a penny in those small openings. It may be because we are younger early to mid twenty's that the marketed clothing just doesn't work with cc. I can't get her to break from her fashion ether lol. Maybe one day coach will make a cc purse (yes I know the brand name lol, but to be fair I have to visit that dang outlet once a month. But it is right next to the timberland outlet that I go in just as much so there is an upside).

There is also a female sticky on this site somewhere. But covering those things that only women deal with in a video/youtube might be good.
Bra carry, Garter carry, Purse carry, Dress carry?

So far are ideas for videos are
Intro video
Survival
Target shooting
Knifes
Our guns and our gun history
Awareness videos
Camping
Make your own targets
CCW
Winter/summer carry
EDC
Range bags
Home security
How not to
Skeet shooting
And I don't carry in a purse, I think it's an awful idea for women.

Exactly with a lot of effort and skill. I wouldn't expect them to make videos doing something they didn't practice extensively doing.
I love Limalife lol, I bought one of my knives after seeing it in her video. One of my favorite people on youtube. I really must make a youtube account sometime and subscribe to them.

I'm so glad you said that. I couldn't agree more. My GF can't find a pen in her purse let alone a gun. No purse carry.

I like seeing girls not doing stupid things like the vids showing women dropping shotguns or hitting themselves in the face with pistol recoil.
Some vids of women actually using good combat stances instead of the arch your back, stick your arms way out, close your eyes and pull the trigger type thing.
Best luck with your plans! :)

how to rack the slide on a semi-auto pistol. Probably the biggest issue I have encountered from training several new women shooters.
If you can't get a round in the chamber, everything else is a moot point.
Kimbers are the guns you show your friends....Glocks are the ones you show your enemies.
