    Anything lever!

The wife wanted a 45/70 but I convinced her to get a .357 Magnum version instead.

Much cheaper to shoot and a little less bang on the body.

Now she really wants a Ranch Hand.

I’ve got a Marlin 1894 Cowboy in .45Colt that I had reworked for shooting CAS and added a Lyman tang site for the long targets. It’s got a 20” octagon barrel, so it looks “Cowboy-ish”.

My “other” Cowboy era rifles are:
    Shiloh Sharps 1874 #1 in .45-100 Sharps (2.6”)
    Ballard 1885 High-Wall in .45-90 Sharps (2.4”)
    Ballard 1885 High-Wall in .40-70W (2.4”)
    Ballard 1885 Low-Wall in .22LR

I, too, have a Marlin 1894 Cowboy in .45LC. Fun to shoot, accurate as can be out to about 100yds. I reload, so I get to build my own loads.

My favorite cowboy "rifle" is my Rossi Ranch Hand. I had the barrel bobbed so that it looked exactly like Steve McQueen's Mare's Leg in Wanted - Dead or Alive. Otherwise, My Winchester 94 in .357 is my favorite cowboy rifle that is actually a rifle.

I'm sorry that I came to this party late...

I don't have a lever-action rifle, but just in the past few weeks, I've been craving one. But, of course, after paying my "after holiday" bills, I don't have any available cash to buy a Rossi .357 or .44 Mag...or even a Henry .22LR!
