My 1st one was a bb gun probably around 10 yrs old.The 1st shotgun i got was a ithaca pump.My 1st handgun was a ruger security six..That was over 30 yrs ago.Been around them,pretty much my whole life,like a lot of the others.

I voted 10+ year. I was given my first .22 when I was 12 and have owned guns ever since. As for CCW, I applied for my permit in 1995 and have been carrying since then!

I got my carry permit about three years ago, not so much with an intent to carry, but because I had a premonition after the 2008 election. Like thirty round magazines, I can see the day that a carry permit might not be quite so easy to obtain. I thought I would get mine while the getting was good, so to speak.

I have been a gun owner since 1950, owned and sold a lot of guns over the years.
When I got my first gun the Navy was still sailing wooden ships with animal skins for sails!
OK, I may be exaggerating just a tiny bit, but I have had guns of 1 kind or another fro a long time.

My first gun was a 22lr single shot ,about eight year's old .now almost 55. concealed carry a year.

My brother in law got me into shooting in 1998. And I havent looked back since.

I've been a gun owner since I was ten, but I only got a firearm with the intent to carry when I was 20. I'm 21 now.
