39 years with my concealed carry licence and I bought my first Ruger MK1 22LR pistol when I was 12 and would ride my bicycle to the IKES Club on the edge of town with a holster on my side.. SO..intent?
48 YEARS with guns. 39 Years carrying concealed and 9 Years Open Carry
I grew up in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. I was given a BB gun when I was 5, a 410 when I was 10, a 30-30 when I was 12 and it continued on from there. I have never sold any of my guns, nor do I plan on it.
I bought my first hand gun a few weeks ago and I have had the intent to carry for the past few months. *signed up for a CCW class in early December and will take the class early next month.
I grew up shooting guns, so I bought one of my own as soon as I turned 21 haven't been without at least 1 gun since. My wife probably thinks I have to many now.... I'll graciously disagree with that though. lol
Over 13 years now...
Got my first "real" carry gun when I was 16. Ruger Security Six 357 magnum. Kept it in my truck. Oddly never shot up my school in the early 80s. Started carrying as a Deputy at 21 and have since ever-after intermittently, constantly when and where ever legal, subject to employer restriction, for about a decade. Evolution of carry includes Glock 19, Taurus 85CH .38 Sp, H&K USP 40, Taurus MilPro G3 .45 ACP.
