Carry my 642 every day.. It's the first sidearm I grab in the morning... Toothbrush then 642. I've practice and became proficient with it. Though it only holds 5 rnds it will always be part of my daily carry whether it be primary or my BOG. Soo

    1. S&w j frames
    2. Sig p238 or even p239
    3.kimber ultra carry or cdp
    4.springfield xds
    5 smith m&p

But that's only my belly button and my personal opinion... All based on my hands and conceal ability.

just Remember when selecting a concealed carry, In the off chance you have to draw and use your weapon. Do not use your show piece or your great grandfathers police pistol. and here is why some not all police/state/government agencies will at the scene take your weapon and scratch/engrave into the metal the officers ID mark so if you had that nice kimber or WWII colt it just got ruined plus this is why you need at least two carry pistols, your pistol now belongs to the courts until it is all over, and sometimes good luck getting it back. just my two cents worth. plus you can't go wrong with any of the above mentioned guns.

I'm pretty sure the way most of us answer the OP's question is by looking in our holster.

Having tried two Sigs, a Walther, and a Kimber; I switched to a .357 magnum J-frame Smith. It's the lightest of the bunch and the most comfortable to carry. It's not comfortable to shoot, but my thinking is that I spend a lot more time carrying it than I do shooting it.....and if the time does come to shoot it, that big adrenaline pump will negate the pain from the recoil.
