K-mart no longer selling ammo
I ran around town all day to several stores looking for some 9mm ammo. I hadn't been in K-mart in years and thought I'd stop and try my luck. They had very little ammo of any kind and it was all marked down 50 percent off. I asked an employee what was up and he said that K-mart is marking down all ammo they have left to get it out of the store and will no longer sell ammunition of any kind. I asked him if it was only this particular store or company wide and he replied that as far as he knew no K-marts in the country will be selling ammunition when their current stock is gone. I rarely shopped at K-mart anyway but hate to see this happen because I am sure others will follow.

The K-Mart by us ( Sunset Drive in Waukesha WI ) went out of business last year. For several years they had nothing in the store but junk.
Big emty building for rent now. It would make a good indoor range! 150,000 sq ft. I never saw any guns other than bb or pellet in that store.
Fast is fine, but accuracy is everything.

K-Mart will be marking everything down before long to pay off creditors. It's dying on the branch. I can remember back in the '60s when the first KM opened up near me. Racks of surplus WWII rifles for near nothing! I think Lee H. Oswald had something to do with that going away.

The K-Mart closed here many years ago.

K-Mart quite selling handgun ammo many years ago when rosie o’donnel (sp who cares) became their spokesperson and had a very loud and vocal meltdown over the fact the they carried both guns and ammunition. Haven’t been in a K-Mart since.

Sorry I forgot to mention this particular Kmart is in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The reason I haven't shopped there in years is becuase it is similar to how you described yours. Sort of "swap meet" feeling to me.

Ever since K-Mart bought out Sears they've both gone down hill. The Sears in our mall closed. The K-mart is still here and actually is nice to shop in because there are very few people there. I don't know how it stays open.

The only ammo they had this morning was various shotgun shells and a couple of unpopular rifle rounds. The prices were very good on what they had left as everything was 50 percent off but it wasn't anything that I needed. Had I known Rosie Odonell was their spokesperson I probably would not have walked into the building to start with. I despise that woman/man.

There are still K-Marts? Haven't seen one anywhere around here for more than a decade.
