    Maybe things are looking up.
The A.S. store in Jonesboro has stopped advertizing ammo and firearms in their sale paper in the Jonesboro Sun Newspaper. I wonder if all A.S. stores have done this and why.Anyone know?

When the ammo shelves are full again it will be back to normal. I still can't find 9mm or .22 LR unless I want to pay double or more the regular price, and even that is very hard to find.

Just saw something on Yahoo. Goverment admits to wanting to buy 1.6 billion rounds. Don't know how long it will take but ammo is still hard to find here.

    Normal?

The "new" normal or the "old" normal?

With the fools that we have running this country, things will never be "normal" again...

    You and me both...

I stop into one random store every day and have yet to see a box of 9mm. I always ask if they know how long they have been out and often the answer is about 2 months.

Not here in NY. walmart now bare as they are not selling it anymore in NY. ganders and dicks only shotguns loads or very expensive super uber defensive style rounds at 2 bucks a bullet. can get regular ammo at LGS but price up there and limiting about you can buy.

22 still like GOLD in these parts.

My local Farm and Fleet has no handgun ammo. When I say no ammo, I mean the shelves are empty.

Looking forward to things returning to Normal LOL! I hope there is an influx of new used guns for sale from all the people that went crazy and bought them. Maybe then I will get a nice deal on an officers 1911 and maybe another AR to friend mine. She is lonely. LOL!

+1 Your spot-on! A shipment here or there doesn't mean we are getting back to the "new" norm either! Will be a LOOOOOONG time!

I picked up some killer LNIB used deals in the summer of 2009 after the the first four year mistake. This summer should be good hunting as well.
One of my local gun stores still wants $700 for a new Glock.....and I replied that I will remember him when things get back to normal....and I take
    my business elsewhere.
