Somewhat. Glocks are still hard to find, and some other guns.

But I'm waiting for all of those guns purchased out of panic at mega inflated prices to hit the used market so people can finance their summer vacations:)
Ignorance is a long way from stupid, but left unchecked, can get there real fast.

Ammo is still scarce up here in MI, and many online stores are still out of stock as well.

My LGS opened their doors Tuesday morning with 100 PMags in stock and yesterday they sent out an email that said:

    IN STOCK:
    Windham Weaponry CDI: $1349.99
    Smith&Wesson M&P15 Sport: $700.00
    DPMS Sportical: $799.99
    DPMS Oracle: $849.99
and several other models as well.

These guys have never gouged their customers and always treat the "regulars" extra well... Nice to see their shelves and racks filling up again!

Ammo still too rich for my blood. New quality brass casing .223 should cost only $.27-$.32 p/rd. I'll wait.

Agreed. But, I'm probably part of the problem. I tend to hoard when it's on sale. I figured given the going rates on GunBroker, I could probably sell half my stash and make enough to take the wife to Europe for a week.

I was in my local Wally World, yesterday and they were re-stocking the
ammo cabinet with 380, 40, 44 mag pistol ammo,,,,, good sign ,,,, I
thought they was going the PC route and stop handling ammo completely,,,,
clerk said she had ordered a boat load of ammo & she believed it would
be coming to the store any day. A group was buying it up fairly quickly.

Better to have a 380 in your pocket than a 45 at HOME.

FWIW, I picked up some Winchester 5.56 from Walmart last week (they did limit me to three boxes though).

One of the local shops I use says that his suppliers are just starting to catch up and that orders are starting to come in more regularly, even though some of them were placed weeks ago.

After a month and then some of not finding any ammo at the local stores, I finally saw some 45 and 5.56 available and bought some. Still haven't seen 9mm or 22lr, but hopefully those will start popping up here and there.

I was told by someone at Walmart that the police around here use 9mm for practice rounds and every morning they drive by all of the local stores, calling to see if they have any, and then buy what they can if they do.

I really hope the used and NIB sales are as good as they were for Y2K. I got my generator for 175.00 (450.00 list) after the panic buying for the end of the world. There should be a lot of NIB sales because when they bought that AR there was no ammo for it. Hope somebody did the same with a Remington 1911. Been looking at them at think my Comander needs a buddy.
