He is a politician who is sworn to Rham, not the US Constitution.

I wrote this in the other thread running:
They guy is a dork, that is for sure. But does anyone actually have a link to the transcript of the interview? I choose not to comment on things unless I know what I am talking about. Too many times we have found out that what an anti said is not exactly what he said. Hyperbole and innuendo, even if well placed, annoy me.
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

Chicago Police Chief Garry McCarthy,
whose city has come under siege by armed criminals who have sent the murder rate to nearly unprecedented heights, told a Sunday morning talk show that he believes the real problem is not those criminals, but law-abiding gun owners who lobby their representatives.
Words from Americas worst police chief don't hold merit to me.

The worst thing anyone could do, including myself, is to dismiss this as lunacy (which it is). As far reaching and inconceivable as it seems, it could come to pass unless we address this kind of "dictator" hype seriously.
At no time, especially now should we ever dismiss such talk.

It's a danger to public safety in Chi town because law abiding citizens can't carry.

McCarthy went on to say that he believes that the 2nd Amendment supports mandatory liability insurance for firearm owners and the mandatory application of GPS tracking devices to civilian owned firearms.
Don't worry, this is still not infringement.

Why would anyone question this political hack? For proof: They suspended the 2A in Chicago and look how safe it is there.

Let us recap: Chicago has some of the strictest gun laws in the US...In 2012, more people were murdered in Chicago than KIAs in Afghanistan during the same period. Did I miss a memo?
