    Absolutely shameful.

Although when your intentions are so clearly against the will of the people, I suppose that you have to take extensive measures to ensure that they don't revolt.

    That just defies logic

President Barrack Obama is Commander-in-chief of the United States Armed Forces, yet he does not trust his own Marines? This is absolutely ridiculous!!!!

"Marines march to honor the president, who honors them in return by requiring them to march with clubs." Shame on you Barrack!

Nothing new. When Pres Bush came to the Academy, all our rifles were inspected to ensure they had no firing pins in them. Blame the Secret Service.

Why does this surprise anyone? Look at history Adolf Hitler had his own protection.

Hitler's distrust of the Wehrmacht (Armed Forces), prompted him to replace the members of the Army who had traditionally stood guard at the Chancellor's office, with his personal SS bodyguard (Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler), soon after he took office on Jan. 30, 1933.

Good point, thanks for sharing. Not everything that happens around the President is his call, I doubt he argued this decision but I bet it was a SS directive. That being said, I'd bet most of Washington doesn't trust our Military.

The commander n thief is about to make a huge cut in the military. I am betting he cuts all branches but he won't cut a penny off his security.

Once they outlaw all of our firearms all of the countries who currently hate us will like us again and we won't need as strong of a military, so why not cut their pay and budget and increase those of the elite in DC? This way they can continue to keep us safe(r) by coming up with new laws...

Ok, Ok, I can't go on any longer. I'm about to make myself vomit and I don't want to get in trouble for getting too political on this forum.

I'm shocked the Marines agreed to it.

I actually find it weirdly comforting that he does not trust his own military

Disgraceful that the Marines were marching with clubs, but if i'm not mistaken, this is common practice, not just with B.O.

I do find it odd that the LEO's still march with functional pistols. Trust the LEO's and not the Marines? .....and this is coming from a LEO. It simply makes no sense. But then again, "makes no sense" is the norm now.
