Help with new 22 rifle
I'm looking to pick up a 22 rifle. My only experiance is with an old marlin my great-uncle had. Who nowadays makes a decent 22 rifle? I'm looking for something bolt action, wood stock, and under 200 dollars. Thanks and take care!

Ruger 10/22 is probably the best semi-auto out there. Sorry missed the bolt gun reference.

I have been looking too, I really, really like the trigger on the new Savages, go to thier web site, both them and Marlin have some available for under $200 you should like. Crexrun
Both brands are quite accurate for the money. :)
Walther P22, Velocitors, on my side. Ruger P95, Speer Gold Dot 124 +Ps, bedside. Mossberg 500, full of steel shot behind the door. And a Princeton Tec Genesis 3 watt led and a Gerber Ridge knife! Don't steal MY Coors Light!

Price currently is higher than your budget but this rifle is a classic and quite collectible. Take a peek.

I second the CZ 452. I have the Trainer and the Varminter, and they both are 1/2 inch or under at 50 yards.

Ruger also makes a bolt gun 22. 77/22 I think.
