I wonder how much business that store is doing with those prices?

My LGS has maintained "pre-craze" pricing and has limited ammo purchases to 2 boxes of 50 rds per day for each caliber to accommodate as many customers as possible.

There's a couple of LGS's in the Cincy area that have 9mm. One had at least 3 dozen boxes of American Eagle 115gr FMJ's at $19 per box. The other had four or five boxes of Independence at around $14 or $15. I'm not having as much problem finding centerfire ammo as I am rimfire. The 22LR supply is dreadful.

    ^For a minute there^^^^^^^^^^^

I thought you were outing me!

So far as guns and ammo around here, ain't nothing shakin' but the leaves on the trees.
Port Huron GS only had 12 pistols, most used in cases that normally held 60.
    Forget about pistol ammo.

Haven't checked St. Clair Shores lately, but I would suspect they are dry as well, and they average 15-25 firearms a day, on the low end.

As long as I have some I refuse to pay more the .25-.30 a round for 9mm or .223!

    Anacortes Gun Shop
Hey Exactly is that the shop on the south side of HW20 several miles east of Anacortes proper? Is it in a light industrial area of welding/fab shops or something similar? If it's the place I think it is I was there a year or so ago and I found their prices rather high brow.

Since you don't mind driving from Portland Oregon to a gun shop you might wanna try KESSELRING Gun Shop. It's on Old HW 99 several miles north of Skagit Race Track. Both places are on the west side of the road if you're facing north. Their prices aren't the deals they were when Ron was running the place but...that's the way it goes, first your money then your toes.

I'm just a spoke in the wheel but not a big deal.

It is. My girlfriend actually lives there (I live in Portland....ugh). I took a visit there for the first time a few weeks ago. The area is gorgeous and I found that little shop. She, of course, wants me to move up there so she sent me a job listing for the store. They actually have several sorta related stores. I clicked on the gun store link and there was the banner about them having ammo. I then spewed coffee all over my monitor when I saw the prices.

I am so looking forward to this "crisis" being over and things getting back to normal....then again, I take happy pills a lot lately.
