    polishing the ramp

    im going to polish the ramp on a few guns... just going to do it by hand...no drimel... is MOTHERS mag and aluminum polish ok to use... thanks

    I have always heard to use jewelers rouge.

    I would not bother polishing the frame feed ramp on any firearms unless you are experiencing feeding issues with a particular firearm. That having been said you are not going to remove any metal on any frame ramp just using any hand polish or jewelers rouge. You will basically just be putting a bit of polish on the metal that is already there.
    I end with...you're not going to hurt anything but, you're not really going to help anything either.
