    .357 SIG Dimensions

Just curious. Is a .357 SIG bullet EXACTLY the same diameter as 9mm or only approximately? And a similar question: Is the diameter of the case EXACTLY the same as the .40 S&W case or again, only approximate?

    The 357 sig uses a 9mm bullet,the case is a necked wdown 10mm the 40 is basically a 10mm short 10mm= .992 case length,40 S&W .850 case length.
The 357 sig case length is.865 so the 40 S&W would be too short
