Man Shot By Trick Or Treaters
JACKSONVILLE, FL -- It was a violent Halloween trick in the Empire Point neighborhood.
Three men wearing masks rang the bell at the house and said "trick or treat."
When 67-year-old Ronald Langley answered the door, they shot him in the face.

What's this now then - ''fun killin''
Geez - and folks wonder why we carry and are suspicious etc.
Edit to add - maybe a ''grudge'' event?! Doesn't make it any better.

Was this a random shooting? That would be scarier; kids are out shooting people at random?

Very disturbing, sounds like it might be another one of those "I just wanted to know what it was like" killings.
I have all but the hogs. Hogs are a good way to dispose of the bodies!

Sometimes I Wonder...
I think back about how my dad used to keep the doors locked...all of the time...
I thought it was silly...
Now I lock everything...all of the time...and I answer the door with 'Mr. Kimber'...(ready but not visible...don't want to scare the neighbors...)...am I paranoid?
This is a very bad world that is getting worse...daily!

My friends and family still wonder why I carry a firearm on me at all times. The only person that actually understands me is my sister. That's why every Halloween I sit out in the garage and give out candy, in the freezing cold and all. I was also packing my XD9 while giving out candy this year.

And people ask why I carry every wakeing hour and have 3 loaded guns at hand while sleeping. They ask why have gun when answering door to strangers, Why carry gun while working in Yard, this is why.

I'm guessing that this was a time of year where Wearing Masks is common & would not attract any attention.
So these "hotshots" figured they could do a perfect Kill For Thrill and get away with it.
But, there were three of them and one of the three will BRAG about it to the wrong person and they will eventually get caught.
They are coward types and once the cops grab one...he'll cry and spill his guts & rat on the other two.
