bomb threat at my local walmart today

drove by my local walmart today on my way home from work at 5 and their were cops blocking every entrance to walmart and the surrounding businesses. all the staff and customers were evacuated out and the parking lot was empty, only cops fire paramedics. heard from a friend he seen it posted on face-book that their was a bomb threat their.. gona watch the 11 o clock news to see what happen. i'm not sure a bomb was detonated but hope everyone is all right. my mom watches my daughter through out the day and she came to my work around 450 and told me about walmart also, and she mentioned that her and my daughter were planning to go to walmart before all this happened but for some reason they never went. im really thankful she changed her mind so my daughter wasn't apart of the people panicking and the threatening situation..

Might be that some Ol-Fart was protesting that Walmart got rid of the door greeters a couple of years back. Dun-no?

Where abouts in Oregon? I haven't heard or seen anything about and I've been flipping back and forth between the news since I got home this afternoon (bad for my blood pressure though..)

Probably just some dumb kid who thought (and I use that term loosely) that the best way to get off of work early would be to call in a bomb threat.

Maybe a bomb threat is a good way to increase the likelihood of scoring 9mm the following morning.

And, the day after that, some faithless congress critters are all the more likely to craft a bill to force tracing, documentation and a quintupling of the cost of powder and other similar "bomb-making" materials. Or something like that.

Road trip to Klamath Falls, though. Ammo run.

Had that happen at my local walmart a few years ago. A kid I went to school with called in a bomb threat so that his buddy who works at Walmart would get the day off.

Maybe the police called it in so that they could clear everybody out and buy the amo themselves.
