The only reason I've found is that you can sometimes get discounts here and there. For example, my LGS knocks $20 off FFL xfer fee.
I snapped a photo of it and carry it in my iphone.

Carrying the card, maybe discounts etc.
Being a member, feeding an 800 pound gorilla fighting for your 2nd amendment rights in D.C. and across America. There are other gorillas on our side and in the fight but they are not quite 800 pounds yet.

Just the sight of the NRA Membership card has been known to send Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi into uncontrollable convulusions.
I carry it daily just in case I want to drive away some other liberal by simply pulling out of my wallet and dangling in front of their face.
..........kinda like showing a Crucifix to Count Dracula.

I have only found three uses for my NRA Endowment membership card; it really upsets liberal anti-gun people, it validates I didn't just find the hat, and it gets me discounts some places.

At our local private gun club you must present proof of NRA membership in order to be considered for membership in the club. Card would do that.

if the latter, how on earth can you argue that the nra is making anyone paranoid? everything they'd been saying is currently trying to be passed since the election. they will keep fighting for your rights tho, even if you are too narrow-minded to see why it's important.

and as far as discounts go, they are basically non-existent. wish cabelas have you nra discounts
