    Question eject question

When I shoot my P345 with factory loads the cases fly everywhere, sometimes I can't even find them. But when shooting my reloads the cases land in a 4 foot circle. Using 230 grain bullets for both. Any ideas?

recoil spring ruger is good for under springing there guns usually your reloads are more consistent than some of the bulk pack factory and usually less powerful

    eject question

Do you think it would help if I install stiffer recoil springs? It kicks the empties back about 8 feet.

If you are also carrying that gun and it's functioning perfectly right now except for where your brass is landing then I would probably leave it alone.
Unless your brass is coming right back at you or hitting you.
If it's a range gun only then do what you want.
Normally you can tune your pistol to adjust where your brass is landing by a combination of things like modifying the ejector & the 'extractor tension & shape' & changing out the recoil spring but, on the P345 that is not going to be a typical home gun smithing job to mess w/ the ejector & extractor.
As per Bud I would only try switching out the recoil spring but, if you're carrying that pistol for self~defense then best shoot it a lot to make sure that your function is not in any way compromised.
For a carry gun I think very positive ejection is a plus.
I want my carry pistol to smack them hard & fly that brass out of the ejection port.
    Just my opinion on that.

    eject question

Thanks for your opinions, much appreciated. I think I will try a little stiffer recoil springs, and see how that works.
