Ok, Ok I値l admit it; I知 addicted to classic S&W revolvers.

Went to a pet bird fair at the fairgrounds in Raleigh. Picked up a few toys for Chiquita, toys big enough for Blue and Gold Macaws are hard to find locally.

Since I was already in Raleigh just for grins and giggles I thought I would check out the gun shops while I was there. Went to the one on the North side of town. They had three cases filled with the usual assortment of plastics and quite few 1911s. Looked on the other side and there was a showcase of revolvers, upon closer inspection there IT was in beautiful deep blued glory and with rich brown Goncalo alves target grips. A wonderful S&W Model 25-2 in 45ACP, just the one to go with my 25-5 in 45LC. Being the weakwilled sort that I am I just could not leave it there. I now have it at home now and just have to find some half moon clips or some 45 Auto Rim ammo and its off to the range for a test drive.

Wow... you dawg, you. I'm highly envious! Is that a 5-inch barrel, or longer?

    Very nice.

Very nice find. Given my affinity for revolvers I probably wouldn't have been able to pass it up either. Enjoy in good health!
