I know this has been asked on here before but the latest I could find was 2009. So I'm asking again and maybe buy now there are some new perspectives on this. I'm looking for an IWB holster and I've seen both cowhide and horsehide. I understand the horsehide is suppose to be better for not absorbing sweat but are there any other advantages or disadvantages? Thanks for any and all help.
Have a blessed evening.

I don't know if it's a pro or a con, but horsehide is supposed to be stiffer and stay stiffer longer.

A good explanation of the cowhide vs. horsehide question is found on the Milt Sparks FAQ page, here: Milt Sparks Holsters
