Glad to see they are standing by their word and warnings. It seems the only way for states to understand their constitutional attacks is to remove revenue. Thanks for posting the update Chuckusaret.

Congrats to South Carolina for having a more hospitable environment for our constitutional rights.

Soon, Colorado will suffer similar departures due to appallingly bad legislative choices; there are consequences for legislation that does not support our constitutional rights!

We'll take 'em all! The companies that is; however, I guess that is a double entendre for gun control.

I am glad they selected a small town and I am sure that the people of the state and especially the people of Anyor will welcome them. Connecticut may not experience any short term consequences but the loss of revenue will be hard felt in the coming years, not to mention the loss of revenues by the local suppliers. The Mom and Pop suppliers/machine shops will be the first to cease to exist and loss of 3000 plus jobs will be a major impact to the state.

The actions of PTR not only sends a strong message to the representatives of Ct. but also to the other states that are/have adopted strict anti gun laws. I believe PTR is just the first to take action and other companies in Ct., Md. and NY. will soon follow.

If PTR's move drives a 3,000 plus loss in employment, I can just imagine what the impact to employement and to the states tax revenues would be if Colt, Ruger, and Mossberg relocate out of the state.

I am betting that Stag Arms will be the next company to announce plans to relocate out of Ct, but it could be Colt who has obtained a small facility in Orlando and has looked at a very large, presently vacant, industrial complex in the Ft. Worth area.

Early this week local radio was talking about how Rick Perry was meeting with Colt and Mossberg. They might be relocating soon also.

I find the response of the anti-gun legislators humorous. Basically it's "your products are evil and kill six-year old children, so we won't let our citizens buy them, but you can stay and make them here so we still get the tax revenue and jobs when you sell them in other states. It's not OUR fault you're leaving, nobody can blame US."

    Nice.

I've seen they were going back and forth between Texas and SC, just glad to see they settled somewhere where they'd be welcomed with open arms.

I am quite sure a town of 600 or so people will benefit greatly from PTR's presence, a major boon to the towns tax revenues, real estate market, restaurants etc.

I read Kahr wants to leave NY for PA. The article was on GunFeed a few days ago.

Excellent. I guess I'll have to buy one of their products to show solidarity.
