The mayor's idea of an museum of the "American West" might had worked better if it had been in the American West. It wouldn't have worked any better than a Museum of Nantucket Nautical History in Wichita, TX.

At one time Pennsylvannia was "The West". Kentucky was the frontier.

But that was many, many years ago.

And to this day, there is still a Western Pennsylvania. But sadly, Harrisburg isn't located there either.

I had read about the things he had boughten, etc. for the museum, and it was good things. Glad to know about it, will check out the things on there.

But, they never seemed to get as enthused as he was about the museum. He just tried to bring in American History, and they didn't seem to care much.

I didn't vote for that clown....or the current clown in charge of Harrisburg.

I'd go check out the antique firearms auction, but I'll be working on Wednesday.
