H&R Ultra slug gun

Anyone have any expierences with the H&R single shot slug gun (ultra). Yesterday was opening day in PA for deer. I was hunting with an old friend in a shotgun only area. My 870 was having a problem and since he already got his buck in archercy and was just out for a doe, he decided to give me his just purchased H&R. and bow hunt for the day. At first I thought wow I haven't seen an H&R since my dad gave me my first 20 ga. 25 years ago. Single shot slug gun it better be good! I never fired this shotgun but thought it will be better that my broken sighted 870. I had the opportunity to take a shot at a buck at 65 yards and it was like I was shooting a rifle. The accuracy of this gun amazed me. Anyone else using this shotgun. From what I was told the dealer that sold him the gun had said it was the "set up" he was recommending to buyers. I'm thinking a new purchase is in order.

I have a couple of those NEF singles but not the slug, however I have heard good things from folks that have them. The first time I saw one, I thought it was a 10 guage, but its a bull barrelled 12 guage. I would not hesitate to get one. Built like a tank...
