    Pink on Pink on Pink

Here's a combo that you don't see everyday. With the market for pink guns expanding, a friend of mine had me send off her stuff to get coated. She's an admitted "pinkaholic" and really, really does like pink. When she ordered a suppressor a while back, she wanted to know if it and her gun could be done in matching pink. I found a guy to do it and sent them off. Here is the result. She loves it. I've already had numerous inquiries about that pink suppressor so maybe the fact that I did it just for her will pay off.

The women love this thing. I'll admit that when pink guns first hit the market, I thought "no way". As it turns out, they are getting very popular and most of the gun companies are putting out pink or partially pink versions of some of their best selling models. I've been seeing a lot of them show up in the Concealed Handgun classes and hey...if that eye appeal is what gets some women into guns, I'm all for it.

Here she is with a Walther P22 sporting a Huntertown Arms suppressor, against a T shirt that I had made just for her. Since her husband is a photographer, he did the pics that have been very well received...more so than I ever thought possible.

Thoughts? Y'all love or hate the pink stuff?

Hey, whatever floats yer boat. I like nickel, myself.

I have to admit, though - I'd be darned embarrassed to be assassinated with that.

Three Christmas seasons in the early 90s working in a toy store with a 20 foot long Barbie aisle (two sides) has made me hate that color.

As long as it brings new shooters in, especially women (traditionally they pole as more anti-gun than men) then I am liking this pink trend. Outrageously pink though that setup may be...

If it gets 'em on our side, and expands the base, I'm all for it.

The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.

Not in my personal taste, I prefer purple but if it gets others into shooting I'm all for it.
