    Experience with Glock 30s?

Hey guys, I just recently bought a kahr cw45. I love his slim it is for ccw. after the break in period and still having ftf issues , I'm considering picking up a Glock 30s....I have a Glock 23 and I love it, but want something smaller. Does anybody have any experiences carrying the 30s? What do you think of it for ccw purposes?

Glock 30's are great CC sidearms. I carried one as an off-duty sidearm and a backup gun when I was still a cop. Never had any reliability issues with them, and they are amazingly accurate.

My father acquired one a little while ago. Fantastic gun. Almost identical in size to the 19, with 11 rounds of 45 on board. Very soft shooting as well.

What I consider a minimal difference in slide thickness of the 30S is offset by the less weight, thus increased snap of recoil. It's a trade off, slightly slimmer slide and weight for somewhat increased recoil. The frame is just as thick as the 30 and 30 SF so there's no real reduction in size. Still, if slimmer slide appeals more to you, than you should consider it. My G30 has been great since day one with factory ammo and reloads. If you don't mind reduced capacity, the G36 is also an option.

the Glock 36 at 6+1 is identical to the Kahr CW45 and the same width. Reliability in my Kahr has been perfect. Sorry to hear about your isssues.
The G36 reliability? Well, I'm carrying it today. End of story. Added Trijicon Night Sights to the G36 after this pic was taken at my local gun store in 15 minutes.
Another plus to carrying a Glock vs other brands.

I have both the G-30 and the G-36...the G-30s is a combo of the two...I still prefer the Glock-36. It is dependable and a great CCW.

The police are not there to protect you from crime, they are there to arrest the guy after the crime has been committed, assuming they find him. It is your responsibility to protect yourself and your family.
