And they do not care how much CalGuns or real people protest. The only very few and far between pro 2A wins in CA are very hard and very $$$$ won court decisions through higher court rulings against the CA or US Constitutional violations. They take a very long time to process, and then rest on the decisions of activist judges (leftist who legislate from the bench). They 'all' are attoneys and in the Bar, so they don't care if someone is paying the hourly rate. The state elected officals at the CA Govt level don't care because they will probably not be in office when the decison is made against upholdind the law they sponsored and/or voted for. But, they always have their CALPERS retirement, on the backs of min-wage earners, to count on after the fact.................. SOCIALISM and no representation for taxes.

CA is a SOCIALIST STATE, and the sheeple who live there don't care. And just not the 1%, look at the businesses (who are getting taxed out of existence) leaving!. http://www.forbes.com/sites/trulia/2...ut-people-are/

    http://capoliticalnews.com/2013/02/1...ergy-costs-33/

NOTE: Biggest exodus of real wealth earners = leaving CA the past two years.

It is time for CalGuns and other 2-A Firearms rights organizations to adopt Alinsky tatics (read the book - Rules for Radicals - it will open your eyes to understand how 'they' are screwing us).

Go to the homes of the specific legislators and picket. Not the state capitol when no one is home. CA people are idiots all around!

CA, as a State = the next Detroit fully contontrolled Democratic and run Socialist failure, but much larger (kind of like the 7th or 8th single economy in the world) which will collapse. CALPERS is insane to support.

    Rant/off............

So I wonder what their enforcement plan is for making people that already possess semi automatic riffles with detachable high capacity magazines get rid of them? So by the wording they believe that an SKS is less lethal than an AK that fires the same 7.62 rounds. California is ate up with stupid. The scary part is the old saying that says "How goes California, so goes the rest of the country. Now that's a scary thought.

I am wondering how they will categorize the M1. I live in California and no matter how we vote who we send the three basic areas of San Diego San Francisco and Los Angeles control the votes and we lose.

We lay off teachers and police and send 30 million dollars a year to the protection of the mountain Lion. I can't figure the voters out. They can't all be stupid can they?

There should be a coastal California and a inland California.

Yes, and mostly trying to import their California-style stupidity to other places like Colorado.

I have never felt that there was a bright future for Ca. This state will be the first to off itself and then it will be like Escape from LA. Hopefully we are out by then...

    I'm surrounded by idiots.

At some point, I don't doubt you'll be proved correct.

But, being one of the planet's largest and most-diverse economies, it might well take a good long while for that to occur. In the meantime, the 35M+ people will continue to do well, to muddle along, to be carried by the system, at least until such time as the exodus of earners results in such negative pressures that the "bubble" changes shape ... and, either it'll burst, slowly ebb, or be altered to accommodate actual reality instead of the utopian (aka moonbat) one they're apparently so desperately seeking. Beautiful place, much of it. But enough wacky politics to choke an entire herd of mules.

It never ceases to amaze me that people live in that state! I turned down a pretty good job doing OPFOR for a FLIR sensor training company simply because it was near Sacramento. There is NO job I can think of having that is worth me having to move there!

A friend and I went to Los Angeles in March of 1987 for a 3-day business trip. After work on day 1, we went sight-seeing. Stopped in/near Malibu at a McDonald's. Walked up to the counter and said "I'd like a Quarter Pounder, no cheese, large fries, and a large coke." Girl just stood there. I repeated it. After another, long pause, she finally whispers "uno momento." She goes in the back and the manager comes out. Asks if she can help. I told her what just transpired and asked if there was a problem? She explained that the counter help has the option of not filling an order that is not in their native language if they feel the customer has made no attempt to order in a way that was respectful to them by ordering in their language. I was waiting for her to laugh at the joke she just told. She never did. We left.

To the OP's point, the CA economy is huge and it allows the state to mandate absolutely asinine things that burden the rest of the country (autos, gasoline mixes, guns, etc.) Eventually, however, the cost of accommodating the nutzoid requirements of CA will no longer pass the due diligence test and companies large and small will start to exclude California from their markets of sale. We're close to that in the auto and gasoline industries right now. General Motors would make money simply by abandoning the California market and removing the ridiculous (and useless) costs associated with making a car that will pass muster there. Up to 50¢ of every gallon of gasoline sold in America goes solely to support the California mix requirements. The answer is for American business to abandon California en masse. It truly would be a money maker, not a money loser.
