Got a new shield today in 9mm.

I picked up a 9mm shield today at my LGS,looking for suggestions on an IWB holster setup . Have been carrying a m&p 40 FS in a king tuck holster at 5:00, but definetly have to dress around it not to print.

I got a Foxx holster for mine. $39 and free shipping directly from the company. Made in Michigan. Great quality at a great price.

I ordered Phlster skeleton holster for my Shield. Still waiting for it to come in but the reviews I have read were really good. It should be at my door step within a week.

I have had very good success with my Old Faithful holster. I'm so happy with my Shield, that I sleep with it, (under my pillow)

Grats. Should have no problem at all carrying the shield.

What holster did you go with?

And where will you be wearing the shield, same area?

I would go with a kydex IWB myself.

I run one with my 9c that a friend made. He's on Instagram , 508 Holsters. His name is Erick. Does great work.

I would look into carrying AIWB with the shield.

Pic! I want gun porn! Cograts. I prefer a much larger full sized frame, but that is me. No insult intended. Enjoy it. IWB or UWB is the best way to go!

Check out Panther Concealment Holsters they're a small company out of Jacksonville. I can attest to the quality of their kydex IWB and have one for my Shield. They stand behind their work, are good folk, and will work with you to custom it to the correct cant and finish. Google them, or go to Florida Concealed Forum where they are a sponsor.

I use a remora holster for my 9mm shield. I got the shield and the remora specifically for a gun that I can grab and go on quick trips. Works great for me!

Ditto on the Foxx holsters. Priced right, well made, free shipping. Easy on and off. Adjustable cant. I have one for my Kahr CW9 and love it.
"Little FoxX" for Smith & Wesson

I also have a Sticky Holster for it and love it also, but I find I use the Foxx more often.
For short trips the Sticky is better, more comfortable. But if you do a lot of walking, sitting down, standing up it will eventually start to shift around.

I wish they made the Shield without a safety. I prefer simple in case I'm in a adrenalin fueled stress event.
