    S&W Combat Magnum Price

Just saw an ad for a S&W .357 Combat Magnum, 6 in bbl, asking $600. Can anyone tell me if this is a good price and/or a good website to check used gun values?

Generally, yes. Six inch models tend to sell for less. If its in real good shape its a bargain.

    What they said.

If you want one I'd grab it.

People are bidding like crazy on most of these here over the $600 you mentioned.

I am going to offer this advice for free.

If you have to ask if it is a good price, you do not want it bad enough.

Price is never an option with serious gun buyers. They find what they want, in the condition they like and they buy it. I have paid a lot more for guns than they were worth because I wanted them. I have walked away from guns that were priced reasonably but not in the condition I wanted.

    A 9mm might expand but a .45acp never shrinks.
