Possibility of Ruger GP100 in .45 LC?

Has anyone heard of the possibility of Ruger coming out with a GP 100 chambered in .45 LC? As most of you probably know, the Ruger Vaquero offers a .45 LC as well as a combo of .45 LC/ .45 APC which would also be a nice option in a GP100. If one is into Cowboy pistols there's no problem if you like Vaquero since it is the only cowboy- style capable of handling Class 3 loads. Uberti's reportedly handle Class I and Class II, but I would like to see a more modern DA/SA revolver with swing-out cylinder capable of handling .45 LC in all 3 classes of loads. The .44spl is available, but the ammo is slightly more expensive and harder to find than even .45 LC. If the .45APC cylinder was offered the pistol would become much more economical to shoot. A choice of 4" and 6" barrel lengths in these .45 calibers would be popular, IMO.

I believe the Redhawk and Super Redhawk are available in .45. Would the GP100 be big enough to handle the higher loads?

With the much lower pressures of the 45LC there should be no problem, the 44MAG might be pushing it a bit but with the extra strength Ruger builds into their products it may just work. Would make a nice more compact big-bore package compared to their Redhawk.

If Ruger made a GP100 that would chamber 45LC and 45ACP I'd buy one.
