Welp, looks like I'm getting a pet pig.

Today I was watching football and cleaning my G27 and then this conversation with the spousal unit happened:

Wife: babe, did you know pet pigs can be trained to use a litter box?(she fell in love with a pig yesterday at a pet expo).

Me: we are not getting a pig. We already have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 boys under the age of 3.

Wife: but I really really want one.

Me: *silence* (go back to cleaning my gun and watching my boys dismantle the rams)

Wife: if you let me get a pig I'll let you get buy the AR-47 thingy you want. (I recently ordered a stripped lower for my first AR-15 build, but I had to promise to build it over a VERY long period of time)

Me: hmmm where can we get a pig?

So.....It looks like I'll be getting a pet pig.

    :-)

    Chris

Have her watch season 1 of Honey Boo Boo. Guarantee she forgets that pig idea right quick, just make sure you finish the AR build first.

I would never waste my brain cells watching that show. However, I instantly thought I could always get rid of or cook said pig. I actually wouldn't be surprises if she got fed up with the pig and no longer wanted it. I'll have my rifle long before that, though. :-)

Highly reminiscent of a scene in Pulp Fiction.

Pigs are cute, but remember that they get to a pretty substantional size when they get older.

    I didn't realize you were a daddy!

My wife would have told me one pig (me) in the house is enough.

Sometimes I feel like I got about that many runnin' around here! All those, though, were someone else's doing (those being the ones with the pig I shot!). Too bad about their momma
