Biggest I heard of last year was 26 pointer, they got that one near Palmyra, about 10 miles from me.

I saw plenty of deer this year but no luck. Missed a doe (underestimated the range) and saw a very big buck several times. :(

Your .454 SRH Bud looks like. Good job.

I had hoped to be out with my BFR but work etc has made it hard to get out much at all.

Oldest son whacked this one behind the house. It was killed with a bow. Since it wasnt with a gun, I figure it might get deleted since some folks might view the hunting methods used here as irresponsible or inhumane or something like that depending on what neck of the woods they are from. Anyhow, there it is.

He posts here occasionaly, but his computers is hosed at the moment so I'll post this for him.

I got a decent 6 pointer this year. I'm still in the dark ages hear no digital camera so I have to wait until I use up the roll of film before I have a pic. But I do have a couple of pics from the previous couple of years.

Just got back from Ga last night. Took a 200lb, 15" inside spread 8point. Fella that processes our deer estimated his age at between 4 and 5 yrs. An absolutely fantastic animal. I had spent September scouting him out and putting a stand in the perfect spot. In fact, my Dad sat the stand earlier in the week, but the buck came in behind him and dissapeared into the night.
After film is developed, I'll post pics.

Nothing wrong with bow hunting in my book. I spend more time deer hunting with a bow than a gun.

What kind of bow does he use? I'm currently using a Mathews.

    8 Pointer

This 8 point Missouri white tail went through about $300 of my sapling trees and he had to go. He is mighty fine eating. Mike Z
