How many of you have a buying and selling addiction?

How much money do you think you've lost buying firearms just to end up reselling them to buy another? I bet I've done so with half the firearms I've owned. Always wanting something new or something different. I know I'd be much closer to that SCAR 17 I'd love to own.

There's a few I sold and still regret doing so to this day. Never again. For now on, I just save up until I can afford to have my cake and eat it too.

I always thought I would regret selling a firearm, but of the ones I’ve let go there was no personal attachment so I have little to no regret.

If I’m not using one of my firearms on a fairly regular basis for one reason or another the thought of selling it will cross my mind. I'm not addicted to the selling of a firearm, but will do so if need be.

As for the buying...Yes, I will admit my incurable addiction.

I buy and sell all of the time.

There are very few that I regret...but not so much that I've had to buy another one.

And, sure, I've lost some money in doing it...but i figure the enjoyment and experience I've had doing it makes it worthwhile.

How many of you have a buying and selling addiction?

Sounds like me. I have limited liquid funds for buying guns. And as a further deterrent, I limit myself to one gun safe.

So...... for awhile there I was selling off guns that I didn't enjoy shooting to fund new funner guns. It was the only way to not buy a new gun safe and to free up funds for newer guns.

But now I've pretty much made good choices and all the guns I have I like so the buying/selling stopped. Plus I lost money on a few deals so that began to sting a little.

The only buy/sell I may execute in a month or so is to get rid of my LCP and buy a SCCY CPX-2 instead.

Sounds similar to me. One safe is my limit as well, and for me, that includes mags, blades, axes, or any other potential weapon. I had a firearms limit of 10. I've refined my search as well. Just a few AK's, Glocks, and M&P's. I choose simple and effective. There are MANY firearms I'd love to own, but I have other priorities now. Just want a reasonable level of preparedness. I do regret selling my G20, G23, G32, G26, and 7.62x39 VEPR. Everything else I've sold, eh.

Big time buying addiction, but it keeps me off the streets.
I don't mind selling one here and there either. Some I've regretted selling, but not usually. Like the poster above, I figure I got my use and enjoyment out of it... sort of like renting it. Yeah, that's it.

I seemed to have turned it into a business that pays for my collections, but firearms don't get sold.
