    Cleaning Relaxation

Does anyone else find cleaning their weapons to be relaxing?

I found myself cleaning my duty / carry weapon today while listening to music. Very relaxing and calming.

Yeah absolutely. Like working on cars or bicycles, it's a 'flow-inducing' activity. I like to listen to Zen podcasts on bluetooth headphones while I do it.

Yes. The same for reloading ammo, and like brocktice, working on bikes.

Agreed, I usually take four or 5 guns to the range an enjoy cleaning them as much as shooting them. ( now that I have the MK 111 down pat)

Lol I have a Mossy 500 and my Smith, but I crank up the classical, or new age (Enya, Lindsay Stirling) and stretch the cleaning out as much as I can.

It is relaxing...guns spread out on the workbench, garage door open...and the neighbors always seem to stay away.

I also find it relaxing. There is nothing like shining up my carry gun after a range trip!

If the ladies would ever catch on to a perfume that smells like Hoppe's #9, we would all be in trouble!

It's all good...in my basement, house is quiet, tunes are playing, and there I am just getting my firearm or arms ready for the next time at the range or, God forbid, I need to protect my family, self or home.
