    As much as I'd like to, I don't support it. Just like you can't force people to NOT keep and bear arms, I don't believe it is right to force them onto people either, especially if some/most wouldn't have a clue as to their proper handling and use.

    As mentioned in previous discussion, the decision to arm oneself is a personal decision based on life experiences, perception of threat, and general lifestyle or occupational considerations, among other factors. It should remain that way.

    This was done in a town in Georgia years ago and another town that I can't recall just recently. There are plenty of loopholes for those that can't afford a gun, object on religious grounds, are scared of guns, etc.. The idea is the BG's don't know which households have guns and which don't. The Georga town's crime rate supposedly went way down as a result.

    Well if that's the case (loopholes, etc.), given the benefits of it, I'd be behind it.
