Quick! Do I want THIS HiPower???

I want a HiPower but is this the one?
Went to the gun shop this morning and spied a HiPower in the case. Shows very little wear, slide rattles ever so slightly.
On the slide it says: "Farbrica Militar De Arms Portatiles DM Rosario DGFM Licena FN Browning." it also has an Inter American import stamp.
They're asking $399 but they will wheel and deal.
Is this a good one to get or should I be patient???
Someone else was eying it too, said he'd be back tomorrow.

I am not the BHP expert really but sounds like an Argentinian FN style piece - and wondering if that is like the offerings CDNN have been having.

If that was case then price should be lower for a used IMO - bit of slide rattle not a biggie tho should not be much. Try a PM to Steve Camp (Steven A Camp I think he uses) - he could help if he sees it.

I am really only guesstimating but if I am right then $325 sounds better.

    Thanks
I was hoping Mr. Camp would jump in on this one.

Argentine FM right... sarco had them for under 300... now they are just under 400 in the past few months...

They went up in value faster than the CZ75's...

Thanks for the replies! After doing some research I do believe I can get a better deal somewhere else, I'm going to pass on this one.

Hello. The pistol was made by FM under license from FN. The guns usually work just fine, but do not have the resale value of the FN-made pistols, if this is of importance to you.

Though harder to find now in 9mm, NIB FN-marked Hi Powers can be had for about what you were quoted for the FM. They're still around in greater numbers in .40 S&W, but in 9mm, they're a bit harder to find.

    Best.
