They are around the same size
As good as a python no nothing is good as a python except a python
they use a shorter stroke hammer setup compared to the mk III guns they replace
All and all a good gun
Bud nailed it.
Handled one some time ago. It wasn't a Python but it was awesome.
God I hate that I love Colt revolvers. Thankfully for me I also like relatively cheap Rugers very much... that takes the sting out of it.
Wait till ya fondel performance center wheelies from smith euc
Close to a python maybe on par but if you can find a python for same price i would still give it the nod
Some consider them to be the strongest medium-frame revolvers built, others will of course disagree. All in all, similar in size to the L-Frame Smiths, and a good revolver in my opinion. If you like Colts, you'll like a King Cobra just fine. :yup: The internal lock work is similar to the Anaconda's.
I'd love to have a collection of Colt "snakes"...
I'd like to have a Stainless King Cobra just to keep my Anaconda company.
and then a Python...
and a Diamondback...:hand10:
i need a python and a king cobra i got the diamondback and cobra all ready
Mine will outshoot my 686 with every load. Its a great gun!!! Steve 48
I've had one for about 12 years now. I love it, it's built like a tank, incredibly accurate, and it's my primary carry gun. I've always been a revolver guy, seen too many autos jam. And I have never owned a handgun that I would trust my life to more than my King Cobra.
Is that praise enough? ;)
I've also had mine about 12 years. I love to shoot it, because it goes BOOM. It's just too big to carry around trying to conceal it. It still looks new after all this time. Mike Z
