An Afternoon at the Range
I'm heading to Gunsite on Friday morning for five days of their 250 Pistol course. I wanted to get some practice before I started the week-long course. I went to the range and ended up purchasing a new gun, too. Briefly considered taking the new one, but decided against it considering how much more time I have with my current carry - the Hk. Here is a pair of targets I shot today using my USP Compact.

Sorry for the crappy quality. It was taken with a phone. Bullets are for size reference.
The target on the left was with 4 mags "centered" from 9 feet with the Hk. The surrounding odd-looking shots are from the brand spankin new Beretta 92G Brigadier Elite 2. Put 300 rounds through it today. A buddy bet I couldn't "shoot circles" around my USP. If anyone has ever seen swirls like that before, let me know. I never saw it with my USP when I purchased it. Looks even cooler in person.
The target on the right is two mags from 20ft. :danceban:
After purchasing a Beretta, I was feeling inadequete about the "size of my barrel" so I wanted to see some accuracy from my first love. So far I can't hit crap with the 92G. I'm not going to sight it in, yet, though. I'm going to replace the awful standard sights with some nice custom ones. I'm open to suggestions about those, BTW.
