    New Toy

After procrastinating forever on what 1911 I wanted I finally came home with this a couple weeks ago.

    Smith and Wesson 1911 SC

Mine is the 2 tone, buddy of mine owns the black one pictured. I put a 100 rounds through it Friday and it was flawless using American Eagle and CCI Blazer aluminum cased.
I wasn't sure about a commander sized 1911 ( I wanted a full sized ) but after Friday at the range I am sold.
Current collection: Too many according to the wife...

Congrats on the new gun. Love the bobtail, makes for easier concealment.

I have the exact same gun. Love it. Probably 1,500 rounds thru it so far. Did have to send it back as the plunger tube came unstaked and an 8 round factory mag that is almost impossible to insert (when full) while the slide is closed.
