    Remington 870 follower (plug) backwards

Just bought a new Remington 870 express tactical and cleaned it today for the first time. The follower fell out of the mag tube and I accidently stuck it in backwards. Now, it is stuck...any advice anyone can give?

New to this forum, look forward to being a part of it.

Once the spring is removed there shouldn't be anything to hang it up. Is it the factory follower or an after market one?

Thanks for the reply. It is the factory follower. I ended up just loading shells into the mag that forced it out.

S&J Hardware make a nice Delrin follower, I'd stay away from metal ones. Is your magazine tube dimpled?
