Full-Auto Glock Fun...NOT A Carry Pistol!
It's great to have a friend with his own range and the papers to build full-auto firearms!
This video is of him shooting a Glock 17 modified to full auto (no selector switch), one burst of 33 rounds. This guy is strong and as you can see is well braced up to hang on for the entire mag, which is pretty tough to do. When I shot it, it took me 5 bursts and I still hit the ceiling on one...my video looked pretty clumsy.
The only use I can see for such a piece is for covering fire, since it's nearly impossible to shoot with any precision or control.

Cool. I'd love to have one of those, but considering the cost of feeding it, even if it were legal here, I'd have to pass. <sigh>

I was fortunate at a shoot last year - courtesy of a Glock rep - to give good excercise to a G18
Better still - it was his ammo!
I was very surprised actually - how very controllable the thing was - I could actually see it as being even more useful than ''just'' covering fire - read .......... ''unzipping'' LOL!

Nice video. Looks like fun, although my wallet would be really light from feeding it.

Those would be fun
I think my arm would get tired from all the reloading.

I'd guess you shot the compensated G18C if it was that mellow.
The one I shot is simply a modified G17, so no porting, which I'm sure contributed to the "climb".

I wonder why they never made a longslide version of the same thing, that way you could put a front pistol grip and stock on it to make a carbine/sub-gun

Here is a converted 17 as well. I found it fairly easy to control with a proper grip and an aggressive stance.

I am selling my two model 18s (one compensated one not, already got buyers too, both of them Police Departments). They are a hoot to shoot, but definitely not for carry, and are becoming a liabilty. I found a full auto 1928A-1 Thompson that I need funds for.
