I couldn't wait any longer I finally picked up my Winchester .30-30 tonight. So what ever evil thing that was going to happen might as well not happen.
All the sudden I feel like Chuck Conners for some reason

Funny, but when the M94 was still in production, I never wanted one.
Now that they're no longer being made, I gotta have one!

Just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains,
And go to your God like a soldier.

I've got my Grandfather's '94. Made in 1953 and it shoots as good as the day he bought it. Love that gun. It still sees quite a bit of use during deer season for taking out hogs.

My 94's are pistol cal - 44 and 357 but have always wanted a good ol' ''thuddy-thuddy'' - and maybe will still find one.
Very fine aquisition - very much a ''pick up and go'' rifle that is!

I have a couple of 30-30 model 94s & I love them. One is my truck gun, the other is my constant companion around the farm & on the 4-wheeler.

Just holding a lever gun makes you feel all cowboy like doesn't it? Put on a couple of SAA revolvers and you feel like you should be sitting on a horse out under the stars.
I love lever guns.

I prefer the Marlin 336, but congrats on the new gun.
Nice! Now you've done it - you've rekindled my interest in a lever gun.

Lever guns were the only real Deer gun when I was growing up in the sticks. I have other types of rifles now, but my Leveraction 30-30's are the only ones that give me true comfort and confidence.
Dakotaranger,
Nice!
