The Colt will definitely have a higher resale value. Quite a bit heavier to carry than the Glock. I carry a Colt 1991A1 compact quite often.
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

Yes , I can only see the two dings one on the front strap an a idiot scratch. Neither will affect operation, if functions well 7 to 8 hundred is going rate.

I have a compact. I'd never do a straight up deal for a 26. It's not the Cadillac in the Colt line but it's a quality sidearm. All you have to do to make it run is get a box of Speer Lawman 230gr FMJ's. Federal Hydrashocks for carry. Do the deal and go buy another 26. I'm looking for one too...

Do the trade, and we'll start calling you Lt. Vincent Hanna (Al Pacino).

I've had a parkerized officers model for 20 years or so. Grips and sights aside, it is otherwise stock. I haven't carried it too much, it's more of a safe queen. For some years it served as my field side arm during deer season. It would be one of the last to go. Not surprised at all at the street value. You can always get another Glock but you can't always find one of those Colts.
