Spent half my day off at the range...

And a very large time was had by all. All I took today were the 40's. A Beretta CX4 Carbine in .40 S&W, and my Glock 27.

This was the CX4's first trip to the range since getting it's red-dot sight, so I did a little sighting in, then put up a clean target. This was 10 rounds of Estate 165 grain FMJ at 50 yards, from a bench, resting the lil' rifle on top my range kit.

The Glock 27 I just bought yesterday. It's a Gen 4, with Glock branded night sights and a Crimson Trace Lasergrip for $600. I may have paid too much, but not really concerned about that, cuz I like it a whole lotta bunches. The white pasties on the head was 8 rounds from 10 yards using the Crimson Trace. The orange pasties center mass are 8 rounds from 10 yards using the sights. The orange pasties with blacks "X's" are 10 yard double taps, right hand unsupported, starting each double from low ready. (not allowed to "quick draw" on this range )

There's not really much point to this post, I just had one of my better range days and wanted to brag just a tad.

A bad day at the range always beats a good day at work! If the range day turns out to be good, that's an added plus.

Thanks for the pics. I semi-sighted in a new scope yesterday, too. I forgot to take my camera though...
Always nice to see somebody's firearms and targets with holes in them.

Nice! I'm pretty eager to get my Storm carbine picked up too!

Or a bad day camping and cooking over a fire or a woodstove doing some fanaglin' and trading is better than a good day at work.
I haven't gone much of anywhere in the last 6 months.

Glad to hear you had a goot time.
