I have one that runs well enough. Occasional fail to fire , but with it being .22 it is expected. Accuracy isn't too bad and it feels nearly the same as my full size .40 cal. It also fits the same holster. The biggest gripe I have is the safety isn't as positive as the full size.

I sold a SIG mosquito, and bought the M&P22. The M&P is light years beyond the SIG.

Great gun, and the right size to simulate practice with your carry gun, with ammo you can afford to shoot all day. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

    GET it!

I love mine .. Out shoots me and the mags are way easy to load and hold 12 up to 15 rounds .. Easier then some guns in rim to take down etc for cleaing .. Feels a lot like a m&p

Just dont buy the CA legal version ...... No threading on the barrel and only 10 round mags ...

That and my ppk 22 are some of my fav plinkers

The only difference between the 10 and 12 round mags is a 'limiter on top of the base plate, take it out and your 10 rounders are now 12's

Good gun. Not Ruger Mark II or III kinda accurate, but a good gun to train with (if you can find ammo) if you have an M&P as a defense weapon.
I have a very strict gun control policy: if there's a gun around, I want to be in control of it.

I have seen them for 350-400 so that sounds about righ .. Not the CA version right?

Lock the slide and see if the barrel has the mounting for the thread apatore (same one as for the p22 and the like ) ..

What do you mean they're not accurate? LOL

I just got this pistol last year and fired this 5 round group from 15 meters from a prone position just to see how she would shoot. The ammo was CCI Mini-mags and I hadn't even got around to adjusting the sights first which is why the group is a little off. The M&P22 is IMHO, a great little pistol. After an initial 200 rounds of mini-mags, she has seen nothing but a diet of the cheapest Wal-Mart bulk ammo both Remington gold bullet and Federal bulk packs and hasn't missed a beat yet.

Haven't handled the M&P, but my wife and I lover the Ruger SR22. Good feel, great accuracy, eats anything, and just plain fun to shoot.

Ruger SR-22 is also worth looking at. CDNN Sports has them advertised for $289 w/ 2 mags and a micro laser. Good luck!

Sound advise as always LT. I've been wanting to test one out to see how they function and print myself. That's also a pretty decent price you quoted from "over the other side of the mountain.". Have a safe one LT.

    I've got a Ruger SR22 also. I'm really pleased. I'd like to try the M&P 22.

The M&P 22 is a great little (not too little) gun. Like it much better than my Walther P22. Accurate, comfortable, reliable, and easy to disassemble and clean.
