Thanks to someone in the wish list thread posting a picture of one of these, I had to have one. It was lust at first sight. Plus I needed a .44 magnum in my lineup again. I sold my BIL my Super Blackhawk probably 20 years ago.
I just put 20 reloads through it chasing my pattern around before realizing that I don't like the orange blade as the glare off it is hard for me to center in the rear sight, so on went the red dot. I was going to put it on eventually anyway. It's an Ultradot Micro HD. 2 MOA. That should work. Now to reload a bunch more and sight it in

That is a mighty fine looking gun. I can see why it would be want at first sight.

I've read about guys swapping out the grips, but they fit my hand perfectly. And the trigger breaks at what feels like 4 lbs in SA. It's very crisp, so it may be heavier than what it feels. DA is super smooth. Recoil feels like a 1911 with the ports.
I need a major reloading session. I'm not going to be happy with just a hundred rounds or so lying around.
Fine lookin' sixgun you have there! I tip my hat to you for having good taste in wheelguns........!

“Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.”
Very nice! I generally prefer Ruger revolvers but those S&W Performance Center revolvers are awesome and seem to me to be in a league of their own. Great looking revolver!
Excellent firearm. Yes, ammo will be on the pricey side, but these guns don't need to have thousands of rounds put through them.
"It may seem difficult at first, but everything is difficult at first."
I saw that shockwave. I was thinking of picking up a box because I only had 20 rnds reloaded at home until I saw the price. That's ridiculous, over a buck a round for a common pistol cartridge.
Sweet. Fine looking handgun.
