Saw a H&K MP5 SD (suppressed) recently, but didn't take it out for a spin. Nice little 9mm 30rd unit. Was wondering how well they shoot, how "silently."
Anyone had much saddle time with one of these?
H&K MP5 SD @ Heckler & Koch
The MP5SD is the full-time suppressed variant of the MP5 submachine gun. This version uses an integral aluminum or optional wet-technology stainless steel sound suppressor. Due to its ported barrel, it does not require use of subsonic ammunition for effective sound reduction like most conventional sound suppressed submachine guns. The removable sound suppressor is integrated into the weapon’s design and conforms to the normal length and profile of a conventional, unsuppressed submachine.
The MP5SD is fully compatible with all existing MP5 accessories and trigger groups.
Yep fire one... Yes it is very very quite ...
Word of advice don't fire one unless your a cop .. Cause you will want one and they are legal pre 86 guns so temptation
Also try a mac 45 with the org made can ...now that is quite and a heck of a lot cheaper then a mp5 ... With a Mac all you hear is the firing pin hitting the round and a bit of the action ...
But the sd is one my fav guns but the price for pre86 ones is way way out there... But doing that hk slap what fun
