I am jealous. My shooting range is a gun club ten miles away.

Thanks, its an old furnace and 3 plates of steel behind the silhouette targets. The "shelf" on the side is a furnace duct. Its still a work in progress, but the refrigerator that I used to use was shot to hell, so it was time for a change.

That's what I was thinking because I don't think that fridge is going to work well enough to keep 'em cold.

I'm not so sure grass would be a good idea, you would probably wear it down anyway walking back and forth.

I just returned from a 45 minute drive to the Indian River County public range. It would be nice to step outside and shoot. My son was trying out my first .300 BO reloads which worked fine, and I got to shoot his new Colt 1911. I have to honestly state, I don't get the 1911 trigger thing. I would say it's different from my Glock, S&Ws, and SIG, but I don't know if I call it better.

Jane, keep an eye open for someone that wants to unload some fill material. Would make a nice backup berm.
