Wasn't sure where to put this, please move if needed.

The hopolophobes (sp?) win again. This kind of stuff just amazes me in it's ignorance. Personally I think it is a pretty cool poster.

Ohio sure is a hotbed of activity, these days. Pretty cool poster, yes, and they'll be able to do the same basic composition without the guns. Sad (but true) that guns + schools are a hot button given the "waste 'em" mentality flowing through some teens these days. I can see how the guns would set off warning bells in school's administration. Ah, me. You don't get a pendulum reversal until it crashes into a few things at the end of a swing. Hopefully sanity will return.

What is really cool about the poster is they all have their fingers off the trigger.

It is a smaill picture but that what it looks like.

    Clockwise from lower left:

1.Finger on the trigger. Trigger guard is visible in front of her finger

2.Hard to tell, finger tip could be on the trigger.

3.4 fingers visible below the trigger guard (safe handling, poor grip)

4.trigger guard in front of the finger, finger is bent an an angle that it would be on the trigger, finger tip is possibly visible on the other side of the prop (through the trigger guard) but it could be from the picture quality.

5.Finger hooked and positioned where the trigger would be

6.Can see the trigger guard surrounding the finger

7.Finger on the trigger (best firing position of the group I might add)

8.(revolver)Can barely reach the trigger. I can't tell

9.I think she actually has the index finger of her non-firing hand behind the trigger. Empty space in the trigger guard indicates finger off trigger.

10.Finger is on the trigger to the 1st knuckle.

With all the anti hype and hitting the news, that is the best promo they could want. Negative publicity always catches attention better.

    No doubt.

If it would have a been a poster that was "Politically Correct" in the eyes of the school administrators, we would have never heard of it and we sure wouldnt be discussing it on a gun forum.

Vernonator, I agree with you 100 percent. I think the movies the kids are exposed to these days has to do with the "waste em " mentality. There is something wrong but it's not the gun itself. Just look at the actors . Most of them are POOR examples for our kids to look up to.
